A new and exciting activity will be offered to campers age 13 to 16. The Eastern Townships has beautiful rolling hills and vistas. This has prompted us to introduce our campers to a wonderful green way of exploring the countryside. Wilvaken has invested in touring bikes, helmets, flags for the leader bikes and saddlebags.
If your child would prefer to use his or her own bike then you are welcome to bring it with you on arrival day. Please be sure to have your bike checked prior to bringing it to camp, and contact us in advance by email. We also suggest a personal helmet as you will know that it fits your child properly. Campers' personal bikes will be kept in safe storage, except when being used during an organized outing.
This is a wonderful sport for all to enjoy. We plan on cycling around Lake Lovering, visiting the Fitch Bay Covered Bridge and many more places.
