Our music program depends on those who may enjoy learning some new songs or delving into making musical instruments at camp or learning something about writing songs.
The program varies somewhat from year to year depending on the skills and interests of our staff.
Acoustic Guitar
Newly introduced in 2010, this activity has so many talented people who are waiting to show us what they can do. We also have campers who have never tried and wish to do so during their stay at camp. With our guitars, we will be offering some basic lessons to beginners and a little bit more to the more advanced players - like a chance to have some jam sessions, or show off on talent night!
If you have your own guitar, do bring it along and join in the fun. Should you have a guitar that is just sitting around collecting dust in your home, Wilvaken would be pleased to accept it as a donation.
